BACTERIA, FUNGI, VIRUSES, PARASITES - an overview and tests
When it comes to diseases created by microbes, complementary and conventional medicine are often light years away from being able to help patients. And there are many reasons for it. The main one: There is not enough knowledge regarding the human – microbe mutualism and disease.

EXAMPLE VIRUSES:
You feel unwell and your GP tells you: You have a virus, but he cannot help you, because in most cases there is no medication available and research in virology is more or less at the very beginning. But … should the GP not know more about your immune system? Could he/she not give you some ideas what to do to strengthen your immunity? …To avoid re-infection? If you are prone to infections, is it not a good idea to run some tests? …Other tests than the usual haematology tests? What about testing the viral load? What about a test for cytomegalovirus (CMV)? Do you know that scientific evidence shows that chronic cytomegalovirus (CMV) infection may accelerate the aging of the immune system and may lead to a high chronic-inflammatory background in elderly persons?
In most unidentified “you have a virus” cases, conventional medicine will advise you to drink more water and rest, and complementary medicine will tell you to take Echinacea. Of course… in many cases, your immune system will overcome the viral infection. But in some cases one has to ask the question: For how long? Cytomegalovirus, Epstein-Barr-Virus (the causative agent for Glandular Fever), Shingles are all from the Herpesviridiae-family. They remain latent in your body and can cause many other health problems.

 Candida albicans
EXAMPLE FUNGI:
You have a Candida… When you hear this “diagnosis” from your health practitioner next time, ask him/her: which one? There are many different Candida species. Now… this is clearly the playground for alternative practitioners, who do not have (or want) to prove things. From stomach pain, diarrhoea, migraines and depression to “brain fog”, allergies, “multiple chemical sensitivities” and pain in the knee… it is all Candida related. Candida is ignored by conventional medicine (other than vaginal or oral thrush or the life-threatening candidemia in immuno-compromised patients), but overrated by alternative medicine.

EXAMPLE PARASITES:
I was diagnosed with parasites and they prescribed me a “parasite cleanse”. There are parasites which can harm you a little and there are parasites that can kill, but research also shows that there might be a different view: some worms/parasites might be even helpful to avoid certain diseases…
However, in complementary medicine parasites are only seen as bad and an expensive remedy – the parasite cleanse - is prescribed which promises to get rid of all parasites. Like the snake elixir in the Wild West. It helped against colds, broken legs, depression, impotence, cancer, heart disease and black spots… When you read about general “Parasite Cleansing”, think twice before ordering it. You might just be throwing your money away.
Many of these parasite-cleansing websites quote Dr. Hulda Clark, the inventor of the parasite zapper. Yes! This zapper sends electricity through your body which will kill the parasite (mainly the liver fluke… so they claim). Many Clark-disciples believe, that these zappers also kill the AIDS virus, heal cancer, hepatitis and get rid of obesity. They have an incredible logic: If a strong dosage of electricity can kill a man, a weak dosage can kill a small parasite. Extraordinary how many people believe this nonsense! It is also incredible, that they also throw all parasites into one hat. They are all the same! The Plasmodium spp. which causes Malaria and has killed half of all men, women and children who have died on this planet… or the Blastocystis hominis which is in some countries in the world classified as ‘harmless’ and in others as ‘pathogenic’… or the Giardia lamblia, which causes diarrhoea and gut problems… or the Acantamoeba which causes blinding keratitis, … or the Naegleria fowleri which causes damage to the central nervous system and kills within days.
Conventional tests concentrate only on some parasites, which trigger gastrointestinal diseases. Some labs like the Great Smokey’s in the USA test for some more… But how valuable is a specimen that has to travel around the world? Think about time, temperature-changes and altitude-change … this means the test results from these samples will not be very reliable.

 Bacillus cereus
EXAMPLE BACTERIA:
There are no good and no bad bacteria…there are only bacteria which are useful and some which are harmful at certain times. When it comes to bacteria, it is not about “them” and “us”, because we are more “them” than “us”. Human bodies have more bacterial than human cells. Gastrointestinal diseases like Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) or increased gut permeability (often wrongly named/wrongly diagnosed as Leaky Gut Syndrome), Gastro-oesophageal reflux disease, and food poisoning mostly have a bacterial background. Incidences of SIBO, small intestinal bacterial overgrowth (sometimes called SBBO) and dysbacteriosis are growing and more and more patients are suffering from bacterial imbalances. In conventional medicine, gastroenterologists perform tests to diagnose or exclude bowel cancer, celiac disease, ulcerative colitis and Crohn’s disease, but they do not or very rarely test for bacterial imbalances. And even if they diagnose a patient with Crohn’s disease, which is still classified as an “autoimmune disorder”, most of them (still) do not accept, that there is more and more evidence that Crohn’s disease (and some other so called auto-immune disorders) is triggered by bacteria.
In alternative medicine, many practitioners prefer to diagnose bowel problems as “Candida” and they put the poor sufferers on long-term (and therefore sometimes dangerous) diets and prescribe loads of supplements. In my book “THE CANDIDA CONFUSION” I write about 200 patients, previously diagnosed with “Candida”… and only two of them had Candida! Or patients are being told to avoid wheat and dairy (who started this “stop wheat and dairy” nonsense anyway?).

Here is something funny to read for non-sufferers, although for sufferers it is not funny, but extremely sad
If you want the ultimate treatment for VIRUSES, PARASITES, BACTERIA and FUNGI, why going to specialists? Just buy Dr. Hulda's Zapper. One of the biggest QUACKERY I have seen in many years.
Read an example:
The zapper is a device invented by Dr. Clark. It kills parasites, bacteria, viruses, molds and fungi electrically. Viruses and bacteria disappear in three minutes (!!); tapeworm stages, flukes, roundworms in five; and mites in seven. A battery-operated, positive offset with a very low voltage from 5 to 10 volts is sufficient. It kills parasites and bacteria wherever the current reaches them. But it does not reach the eyes, the appendix, the testes, the inner ear bones. The current travels along the stomach or intestinal wall, not through its content. It does not reach into the gallstones or into the living cells. The current does not pass uniformly through the body. With regular zapping, the current passes mainly through our liquids, i. e our lymphatic and vascular system, a small fraction reaches every organ and tissue of our body. Blood and lymph are the most important locations to zap.
Isn't it unbelievable? And isn't it sad at the same time? Think of all the patient who carry the Plasmodium parasite (Malaria) or all patients who have HIV. Just zap it away in 3 minutes!

Oh boy, oh boy... what a fantasy
Chronic fatigue is the fermentation of our glucose in exchange for acids. These acids are known as acetyladehydes which are then broken down into secondary metabolites as alcohol. The result is fatigue - I call it the drunkenness disease.
What about burn-out syndrome? Fatigue in malignant diseases? Post viral fatigue? .... For the viruses he has something special:
The truth about viruses is that they are crystallized patterns of an acidic waste product from matter - dead, decaying or fermenting matter.

A virus is a liquid poison… a waste product of diet and/or metabolism
that needs to be buffered and eliminated through the four channels of elimination - skin, lungs, bowels, and bladder.
